Product Description
This "Kindergarten Clubs" kit will get your kiddos super excited about learning and mastering various kindergarten skills. Since implementing clubs in my classroom, my students are motivated to learn the various standards/skills.

I've chosen 13 specific language arts and math standards that I want my students to master before entering 1st grade. There are many more standards that I could have used for my clubs. However, that would be an organizational nightmare. I've chosen the standards that I feel are the more "important" ones for our kiddos to master.

MATH CLUBS INCLUDED:
-Counting Objects Club
-Addition and Subtraction Club
-Hecto Club - means “100” in Latin. My high school geometry teacher, who was also my mother, had a “Hecto Club” in her classroom. If you made a 100 on a quiz or test, you could add a star by your name.To honor her idea, I’ve created the “Hecto Club” for counting to 100 by 1’s and 10’s.
-Counting Club
-Numerals Club
-Shapes Club

LANGUAGE ARTS CLUBS INCLUDED:
-Alphabet Club
-ABC Sounds Club
-CVC Club
-Sentence Club
-Rhyming Club
-Syllable Club
-Name Club
-Sight Words Club

ALSO INCLUDED
- EDITABLE SIGHT WORDS CLUB -
There is a separate editable file for this sight words club. Different schools require students to learn a specific number of sight words. For this reason, I have made this club editable. For example, my school requires the kiddos to learn 100 sight words so I have four “Sight Words Clubs”. (25, 50, 75, 100) Also included in this file is an editable sight word club certificate and checklist.

-EDITABLE CHECKLISTS
In my classroom, I laminate each club and then attach the correlating checklist to the back of the club. This helps me to know who still needs to join the club. There is also an “All Clubs” checklist for you to use as well. All of the checklists are editable so that you may add your students’ names to each checklist.

-EDITABLE CERTIFICATES FOR EACH CLUB - 2 print per page

Kindergarten Clubs is a fun and easy way to get your students super excited about mastering new skills/standards. Hope you enjoy!!!
