Kindergarten Long Range Plans

Due to several requests, I have included free long range plans for a kindergarten class.

I hope you can find it useful or as a potential guide to start planning your school year as every class is different and everyone's teaching style is different too! Be flexible, change up what you need to suit your students needs as it is appropriate for your class and your teaching style.

What is included?

1. An editable powerpoint presentation for you to tweak to your own needs

2. A .pdf document with an example year included

Plan columns per month include:

• Literacy concepts
• Reading Skills
• Sight words per week - in the example provided these are often based upon the letter of the week for consistency and reinforcement within the week.
• Letters/sounds for each week - Jolly Phonics order
• Writing concepts - potential thematic themes included
• Math Concepts
• Number Sense Concepts – the example provides a format to teach students so they always have a number sense focus and skills taught in a way that build upon each other
