This set includes eleven engaging and age-appropriate counting centers for your math stations. Using math manipulatives that you have on hand and these printable math center cards and recording sheets, your students will be set up with eleven different ways to improve their number sense!

These centers each include a teacher direction page, a student direction card with pictures, an illustrated label (for a pocket chart and/or labeling your center containers), recording sheets, and printable task cards or game pieces.

The centers included in this set all include the numbers 1-10 (some, but not all, include zero, as well)). They are designed to give children practice with counting, forming, identifying, and comparing numbers. Please see the table of contents below for all of the resources!

Compare two numbers between 1 and 10 presented as written numerals.
Identify whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than, or equal to the number of objects in another group, e.g., by using matching and counting strategies.
Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many objects.
Understand that each successive number name refers to a quantity that is one larger.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
