MARCH  KINDERGARTEN CENTERS

LITERACY CENTERS

Sounds Float By - Student practice identifying beginning sounds.

Lucky  Endings - Students say the name of each picture and write the ending sound.

Shoot and Score Digraphs - In this basketball center activity students practice identifying beginning digraphs.

Beautiful Blends- Students practice identifying beginning blends. Students will say the picture name and write the word.

Lucky Vowels - Students practice identifying the missing vowel in CVC words.

Sentences for March  - Students match the picture with the correct sentence. Students will write the sentence next to the picture on the response sheet. There are four sets of sentence matching in this center.

Spring Rhymes - Students identify rhyming pictures.

March Syllables - Students clap out the number of syllables in each picture and color in a shamrock for each syllable.

Planting CVC Words - Students change the beginning sound to make a new word that matches the picture.

MATH CENTERS

Looks like Rain! Base 10 - Students count the base ten blocks and write to tell how many. (Numbers 10-20)

Spring 10 Frames - Students count the ten frames and write the number that represents how many. There are 2 levels for this center - great for differentiation!

(#1-12) & (#9-20)

So Lucky! Make 10 - Students practice making 10 using a ten frame.

Fluttering Friends - Students say the three numbers on each card and write them in numerical order.

Rainy Days Ahead Count by 10  - Students look at the number on the card and count on the next three numbers by 10s.

How Lucky  - Students count the number of each picture on the card. This is great practice for connecting counting to cardinality.

PREDICTABLE CENTER ACTIVITIES

These predictable kindergarten centers are ideal for any classroom because the activities do not have to be retaught month-after-month. The students can apply their new knowledge to the same activities, with different themes each month.

Each kindergarten center has a recording sheet that can be used for tracking student progress during these independent activities.

These are purposely predictable kindergarten math and literacy center activities and they are EASY PREP! Plus, each activity is standards-aligned.

Included in each month of kindergarten learning centers:

  • 8 kindergarten literacy centers (colored & black and white versions)
  • 8 kindergarten math centers (colored & black and white versions)
  • Recording sheet for each activity
  • Each center has 9-12 task cards for extra practice
  • “I Can” cards to help build student independence

What teachers are saying…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “This has been one of the BEST purchases for me on TPT! I love the activities, the I Can statements, the standards each activity addresses and the recording sheets to show the students are working on mastery and what extra help they need!  I highly recommend purchasing this product because it will make your Stations more productive and aligned with the standards.” - Daniela S.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “I was new to kindergarten this year and her center work was great in helping my students get to work at their centers/workstations. The format was the same and for a lot of the activities which students were able to work independently while I worked with small groups.” - Pattie P.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Once you prep the pieces they are so easy to grab for a quick literacy or math center. I love that a lot of the activities stay the same but change to match themes. Once you have modeled an activity the students will know what to do because the process is the same. This is such a great resource and is totally worth the money.” - Katie C.
