These Kindergarten Counting and Cardinality Math Mats are for
isolated Common Core Standards skill work. We made these
isolated Skill Work Math Mats to make sure that we focused on and taught every one of the Kindergarten CCSS, we are required to teach and have the student’s master. Each of the 4 topics have 10 Math Mats that can be used in your classrooms as math centers, small group instruction, individual instruction and assessment of these standards. If you you teach first grade, and have a child what is having difficulyt with number sense this would be a very usefull . They are a great tool to help your Tier 2 and Tier 3 students in your Teacher Toolbox!

K.CC.2 Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequences
K.CC. 3. Write the number from 0-20. Represent a number of objects with a written number 0-20 (with 0 representing a count of no objects)
K.CC. 4. Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
K.CC. 5. Count to answer “how many?” questions about as many as 20 things arranged in a line, a rectangular array, or a circle, or as many as 10 things in a scattered configuration; given a number from 1-20, count out that many object.
K.CC.6. Identify whether the number of objects in one group is greater than, less than or equal to the number of objects in another group
K.CC.7.Compare two numbers between 1-10 presenting as written numerals.
