    End of the Year Review
    • Bundle Description
    • Standards

This kindergarten math units for the year bundle is the perfect way to help your students explore math concepts in a hands-on way! Everything you need to teach an engaging guided math unit is included here! These units were developed to be taught whole group but would also work well in a small group setting. The teacher will be guiding the students in an I do, We do, You do model.

After many requests, differentiation options are being added! Units 1-10 have been updated with these and I am currently working on the rest of the units! I am also updating the format of each lesson plan and adding end of unit assessments.

Each lesson includes a full lesson plan with:

    Anchor Charts

Warm Up - engaging whole body counting activities

Whole Group Activity - the teacher will direct students in a mini-lesson about the topic

Partner Activity - students will work in pairs to play a game or complete an extension activity

Independent Follow Up - students will apply what they learned whole group to an independent paper activity.

Home Extension - students can practice even more at home with a short practice page.

Differentiation Options - options for below level/intervention and enrichment are included with each lesson (these are being added in the units now. Units 1-7 have been updated and the rest are coming!)

    End of Unit Assessment

Units 1-12, supplemental units Sorting and Patterns, Coins, and Time to the Hour, and Unit 13 End of Year Whole Group Review Games are currently included in this bundle. This bundle is now complete, but if you notice an area that you are required to teach per your state's standards that is not covered, please let me know and I will work on adding it!

NOTE: These units are currently getting an update and assessments are being added! Units 1-10 and 1.5 have been updated.

Compose simple shapes to form larger shapes. For example, “Can you join these two triangles with full sides touching to make a rectangle?”
Model shapes in the world by building shapes from components (e.g., sticks and clay balls) and drawing shapes.
Analyze and compare two- and three-dimensional shapes, in different sizes and orientations, using informal language to describe their similarities, differences, parts (e.g., number of sides and vertices/“corners”) and other attributes (e.g., having sides of equal length).
Identify shapes as two-dimensional (lying in a plane, “flat”) or three-dimensional (“solid”).
Correctly name shapes regardless of their orientations or overall size.
