*Updated for the 2016-2017 school year!*
This 24-page packet includes a Daily Warm Up worksheet for every school-day in June. I have created this Daily Warm Up Packet to simplify the morning routine. I use this packet for my morning work time. Each day, I provide one of these worksheets to all of my students to complete as part of their morning work. You may also use these worksheets for enrichment, fast finishers, or homework! This packet should take you all the way through the month of May. And don’t worry, if you want to use these during other times of the year, that’s fine too! These worksheets are designed to be repetitive to enhance student ability to gain independent skills, automaticity, and routines. Additionally, these worksheets focus on Kindergarten skills from all required strands of the Kindergarten Math Common Core Standards. The mastery of these skills is so important, and these skills are the foundations of success for future strands and standards within the Common Core. Use this packet as a review for your Kinders (or Firsties).
Some students may not be at the mathematical level to do complete the standards-based portion of these warm ups with 100% independence. A suggestion I have for this situation, is to have students complete the Daily Calendar portion of the warm up independently, and focus on each standard in a whole or small group setting. By 1st grade, these standards, though no longer adequate for 1st grade instructional time, may be perfect review of the standards, especially during the beginning of the year!
Other uses for this product include (but are not limited to): enrichment, extra support, fast finishers, & homework.
