Kindergarten Math Exit Tickets & Journals All Year (Math in Focus™)

Kindergarten Math Exit Tickets & Journals All Year (Math in Focus™)
Product Description
Kindergarten Math Exit Tickets:

These exit tickets created by The Primary Place are designed to complement most kindergarten math curriculums. I use Math in Focus™. Each exit ticket is a printable half sheet. It has the corresponding chapter and lesson listed in the top corner as well as the kindergarten CCSS that align with it. There are pencil and crayon symbols in the corner to let the teacher know what the students will need to complete the exit ticket.

There is also an Exit Ticket Recording Sheet, an Exit Ticket Planning Sheet, and a booklet cover if you should decide to make the exit tickets into a stapled booklet for ease of use.

Just have your students take five minutes or less to complete the exit ticket. Then based on the results, you can plan your instruction for the following lesson or differentiate your small groups/math centers.

A teacher answer key is included for each exit ticket.

Kindergarten Math Journals:

Kindergarten Math Journals All Year

I created math journals for my students because I wanted them to write across the curriculum as much as possible. These journals have allowed me to do that as well as have some rich student discussions about mathematics in the process.

These math journals are designed to be a companion to almost any kindergarten math curriculum. The math curriculum I use is Math in Focus™. The journals are aligned with Common Core Standards and provides an opportunity for writing in math.

Simply copy the journal cover page and journal entry pages.

Included in this package:

•Math Vocabulary Cards – When posted, these can be used as a writing resource for students. I have also included blank cards for you to add your own.

•Math Journal cover page

•Math Journal Math Vocabulary – any other vocabulary you may want to add

•Math Journal pages – Some of the entries have two different versions. These are the same, but they allow the teacher the flexibility to differentiate based on students' writing skills. Each journal page has an optional sentence starter.

•Blank math journal page
