This pack focuses on CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.K.OA.A.5: Fluently add & subtract within 5.

On each page, there are 3 columns of problems. These sheets are designed to make it easy to differentiate. Upon the teacher’s directions, a child can fold the 3rd column over and “complete” the task by answering the questions in the first two columns.

I like to chorally read the problems and have kids check their own work. To help kids feel successful, I encourage each child to look for the box (column) in which he/she scored his/her personal best. This allows a lot of kids to find a section in which they got them all right!

On each page, one small piece of clip art is shown. The graphics appear in color, but print well in black and white.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!

Sincerely, Anne Gardner (NBCT)
