One of my favorite units to teach in math is geometry. It is highly engaging and always holds student interest. If you are in need of supplemental geometry materials, these student created books are for you!
Students are to use their imaginations to turn ordinary shapes into something creative. Example: A circle is just a circle until you add a face and body parts, then it is a person! A rectangle is just a rectangle until you add water and people, then it is a swimming pool!
There are two books included. Book one is a two dimensional shape book (square, rectangle, circle, triangle, rhombus, hexagon, trapezoid and oval). Book two focuses on three dimensional shapes (cube, rectangular prism, cone, pyramid, cylinder, and sphere).
These books are highly engaging! Enjoy!
