This is a set of 5 half sheet recording sheets for kindergarten math activities and games.
For the first activity you will put unifix cubes in a zip lock baggie, or a container. The amount of the different colors of cubes should represent the numbers you are working on (eg. 0 - 10). Students will count each color of cubes and write the number on the recording sheet. I laminate mine and have students use dry erase markers or wet erase markers to write the numbers. One recording sheet has colored unifix cubes, the other has color words.
For the following activities, you will just print them, cut them in half, and put them with your math activities.
The 2nd activity is called Roll, Count, & Write. You will give students 1 or 2 dice. I use the big foam dice from the dollar store, but any dice will work. Students will roll the dice, count the dots, or add the numbers together and write the sum on the recording sheet. I use only one die in the beginning of Kindergarten, then I add the 2nd die later.
The 3rd activity is called Domino Addition. Students will pick a domino, draw the dots they see on the domino on their recording sheet, and then fill in the equation that goes with it, when they add the dots together.
The Next recording sheet can be used for any Compose & Decompose or adding activity that you do with your kiddos. I use it with 5 and 10 frames, rek-n-reks, etc.
