Description

Give students independent or partner practice with identifying attributes, sorting, and comparing with these task cards. They cover the K.MD strand and can be used in a variety of ways. Teachers can also use them in small groups for re-teaching with scaffolded support. These task cards would be excellent additions to your math rotations and center activities.

There are 36 total cards in this set. It focuses on the Measurement and Data (K.MD) strand of the Common Core Standards. This strand focuses on 2 main areas: describing and comparing measurable attributes and classifying objects into categories. It is crucial that students work with real-life, tangible materials while using these task cards, so they will be walking around the classroom working with many materials you already have!
