Description

Give students independent or partner practice with composing and decomposing teen numbers using tens and ones with these task cards. They cover the K.NBT strand and can be used in a variety of ways. Teachers can also use them in small groups for re-teaching with scaffolded support. These task cards would be excellent additions to your math rotations and center activities.

There are 72 total cards in this set. It focuses on the Number and Operations in Base Ten (K.NBT) strand of the Common Core Standards. Since this strand only includes one standard, these task cards were created to expose students to teen numbers in a variety of ways. They will be able to manipulate, compose, decompose, and write teen numbers in multiple ways.
