Give students independent or partner practice with addition, subtraction, composing, and decomposing skills with these task cards. They cover the K.OA strand and can be used in a variety of ways. Teachers can also use them in small groups for re-teaching with scaffolded support. These task cards would be excellent additions to your math rotations and center activities.

There are 138 total cards in this set. It focuses on the Operations and Algebraic Thinking (K.OA) strand of the Common Core Standards. Almost every standard is practiced with these task cards with the exception of K.OA.A.2 as I believe that standard is best practiced in a more open-ended way using manipulatives. I recommend using these Word Problems for Join and Separate to practice that standard.
