Meet the common core standards for measurement and provide lots of practice with making comparisons and describing the differences. This Common Core kindergarten unit for teaching measurement includes everything you will need to fully meet standards K.MD.1 and 2, excluding the common objects used for comparisons and the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. However, it does include the story pieces, so you can simply use them to tell the story. Common objects used include: an apple, toy car, paper clip, small block, cotton ball, small book, etc.
