Product Description

Looking to do more learning centers in your music classroom? This set has everything you need to do centers to practice fast/slow in your Kindergarten classroom (or to review in first grade).

This centers set includes:

*An overview of learning centers, with strategies for setting up in your classroom and directions for organizing each center

*Six centers signs

*Student directions for each center

*Six centers for fast/slow, including:

--Center 1: Fast/slow worksheets: students can use a bingo dabber, a pencil, or scissors and glue to sort fast/slow pictures (depending on the supplies you have)

--Center 2: Fast/slow coloring sheets: Students color the fast sheet (showing a train going downhill) then trace the word "fast," and/or color the slow sheet (showing a train going uphill) then trace the word "slow"

--Center 3: Fast/slow sorting: Students sort the fast and slow pictures onto a sheet that says "fast" and "slow"

--Center 4: Instrument playing: One of the students in the group plays fast or slow, and everyone in that group moves accordingly. Watch out though...if the student stops playing, everyone has to freeze!

--Center 5: Assessment for fast/slow: Students show with the included folded paper whether the music they hear is fast or slow. Note: The teacher will have to be anchored at this center to take the assessment.

--Center 6: Fast/slow cards: Students decide which song or chant to sing or speak from the included cards, then combine it with a fast/slow card, then perform accordingly!
