Interactive notebooks are a fun and engaging way for students to learn and interact with new information, as well as, review and practice skills already introduced. Interactive notebooks promote organization and serve as a very useful and necessary learning tool. Students collect all their learning in this notebook, and it can easily be used to scaffold and assess learning. Students learn to take ownership of their notebook and love to share their creativity with others.
These activities are a great way to help your students learn and practice beginning, middle, and ending sounds. For each activity, you will find a label that includes the skill being taught, as well as, an I can statement.
Each skill contains activities with one cut and activities with more than one cut. They are the same activity, but you can decide which one you want to complete, depending on how well and how much your students can cut.
Explicit directions on how to complete each activity and images of each activity completed are also included. You will also find three different notebook covers.
