This interactive powerpoint is differentiated into three sections to be used for a variety of learners.
The first section shows students a number and asks them to build the number using tens and ones. It then shows student the answer so they can self check. You could also have your more advanced students draw the tens and ones to match on write boards.
The second section shows a number using base ten blocks and asks the students to write the number on dry erase boards.
The third section is for your students who are ready for numbers greater than 20. It shows numbers using base ten blocks greater than 20 and asks the students to write the number on dry erase boards.
This is an easy way to interact and quickly see if each student is understanding numbers using tens and ones.
