This pack includes 31 patterned sentences (5 themes) for students to unscramble and order. Each set of sentences comes with two paper options (easy differentiation!)- one where students copy the sentence, one where they trace a word from the sentence and write it. (See preview for example of these pages)
The sentence stems include:
I see the (school item). **Example: I see the book.
Look at the (color word) (animal). **Perfect after reading Eric Carle's Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? Example: Look at the red bird.
I can (verb). **Example: I can swing.
Here is a (color word) (noun). **Perfect after learning color words. Example: Here is a green frog.
Come and see the (apple themed noun). **Example: Come and see the tree.
**This pack focuses on the following kindergarten sight words:
I, look, at, can, here, is, a, come, and, see, the, & color words
How to use this pack:
After teaching sight words, put this in your pocket chart, word work, or write the room center. Students can practice the sight words they know and use the picture clues to read the rest of the sentence.
With this pack, you can teach the center once and the content will change weekly for your students. This makes this center easy to prep and implement! Upcoming packs will follow the same format, but they will have new themes and sight words.
**Monthly packs with new sight words will be coming soon! Be sure to follow my store to know when they are added.
