Assessment for your preschoolers who are going into Kindergarten. Assess their skills to determine how ready they are for Kindergarten. This is an ongoing assessment; it is definitely not meant for a sit down in one day. This has academics, motor skills, self help, and social emotional.

The academics section is the largest, but SOCIAL EMOTIONAL and self help are more important. Remember that the best way to get your children ready for Kindergarten is to make sure they have been exposed to and are comfortable in social situations, and to make sure they have good self help skills. Do not stress about how much your children get "right" or "wrong"; what they don't know now, they will pick up in Kindergarten. The rest just gives you an idea of where your children are in everything else. I hope this assessment helps you get an idea of your children's learning and skills as a whole!
