Description

Do you need a way to assess and document reading standards covered by individual students? I created this pack with you, the teacher, in mind. The graphic organizers cover all kindergarten standards in the literature and informational text strands. The pages can be used in whole group, small group, or even independently (once taught). Most of the graphic organizers have the related standard noted in the corner of the page. I have also included several bonus comprehension pages that are not directly related to specific standards, but are certainly covered during think & read alouds.

How do I use these? I have a hanging file folder for each student and as these standards are covered, I file these pages to document standards covered and possible mastery. In my state, we are required to have reading portfolios that follow students to third grade. These pages are great for those to show progress and growth during the year. Need the first-grade version? See it HERE!
