This is meant to be a supplement to Scott Foresman's Reading Street 2011 Edition. There are centers, anchor charts, and more. Below you will find a detailed list of this packs contents:
Slide 3: HFW’s Anchor Chart
Slide 4-5: Sight Word Slap (Cut these out and tape each of them by your door. Have your students slap a hand and read the sight word when you are leaving the room.)
Slides 6-8: Spectacular Sight Word Stars (make a cover for each student and attach the sight word card behind it each week. Let the student color in the star if they can read the word. I use a book ring to make mine easy to flip through.)
Slide 9: Sight Word Coloring
Slide 10-11: Fill-In Sight Words (There are several ways to use these sheets. You can use paper to fill in the sight words with small pieces of paper. You can use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to color each letter or you can use dot markers to ‘dot’ inside the letters)
Slide 12-13: Sight Word Flashcards (two sizes)
Slide 14: Sight Word Anchor Chart
Slide 15-17: Amazing Word Picture Cards
Slide 18: I Can Poster for Letter Matching Game
Slide 19-28: Cut out and laminate each Letter Card and letter tiles. Have students place each letter under the correct Letter Card that it matches. A Recording Sheet is ready for the students to use after they complete the center.
Slide 29-30: Cut/Paste Letter Identification Worksheet
Slide 31: I Can Poster for Beginning, Middle, and End Center.
Slide 32-36: Picture cards with boxes for students to use letter tiles to identify the beginning, middle, and ending sound of each picture. .Students can also use dry-erase markers if they are laminated.. A recording sheet is also included.
Slide 37: I Can Poster for Classify and Categorize center.
Slide 38-51: There is a letter and number mat that the students have to use to categorize the number and letter cards. A recording sheet is included. .
Focus Wall Pages Theme, Author and Illustrator, Phonological Awareness, Phonics Skill, Comprehension Skill, Grammar Skill, and Question of the Week. (All contain an illustration since most of the children can’t read yet)
