This pack is a set of 30 weeks of sight word practice using the sight words found in the 2014 Kindergarten Journeys reading series by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
For each lesson there is a Sight Word Bingo printable that includes 24 ways to practice sight words and a free space. The printables are clearly marked with the sight words for the week and the Journeys lesson number at the bottom. I also included a page to write in your own weekly sight words to differentiate for your students.
To play Sight Word Bingo students will practice their weekly sight words using the activities included on the worksheet. If they get five in a row and a parent signature, they will receive a prize when it is turned in.
Some of the ways to practice include reading the words in a robot voice, writing them in bubble letters, building them from play-doh, or playing Jump on the Word. The prizes may be stickers, a trip to the treasure box, or other small treats you choose.
This pack makes sight word practice more fun for the students because they get to practice their words differently each week and they get a prize when they do.
This pack also helps students master the Common Core standard "Read common high-frequency words by sight" (RF.K.3.C).
