Check out this fun way for children to learn to read their kindergarten sight words and master them in no time!
Directions: Print flash cards on cardstock and then laminate. Cut out and punch a hole in the corner. Place 15-20 sight words on a ring and add three paperclips on each card to the right of the word. If the child is able to say the word correctly they take off one paperclip and move on to the next card. If they do not know the word, they do not remove a paperclip. Tell them the word and have them repeat it to you and move on to the next card. Have the child do them once a day. As they master the words and all three paper clips are off, remove the card and replace with a new sight word they need to master.
I also have a check off list for these sight words to assess the children every so often to make sure they are reading and writing them correctly and what new words you can add to their ring!
Available in letters/sounds and 1st grade sight words too!
