Kindergarten Sight Words Editable Pack for Spring

Creating sight word activities can be so time-consuming when kids are at different levels and you need to differentiate your activities to help them be successful.

Want to reduce your workload?

Simply type your words in once and they are generated onto every activity or game. Print what you need for that child or group, save or simply close and reopen the pack to get a clear editable field and type in the next list for your new group.

Differentiation is easy

This spring themed pack makes it so easy to differentiate your word lists for your students. For children who need to focus on one word at a time, you can choose that sheet. For your other students, you can use any of the other fifteen worksheets included.

The worksheets will allow you to use six focus words of ANY length. If you're only covering two or three new words a week, type in those words and use the remaining spaces to include revision words. Some children will only need one or two exposures to a new word in order to recognize it again but for others, it can be twenty or more. This is why repeated exposures to words learned in previous weeks is so important.

Encourage independence in centers

Use the 'I Can' visual instructions with your worksheets to help your young learners become more independent at center time.

Games and Activities

Use a new sight word game each week in your literacy stations (you can even send a black and white version of one of the games home for homework). Revise the last week’s words along with the current week or focus on this week’s words only.

Need British English spelling of the word colour – not a problem. Extra sheets are included at the end of the pack with British English spelling.
