Description
Interactive notebooks are a fun and engaging way for students to learn and interact with new information, as well as, review and practice skills already introduced. Interactive notebooks promote organization and serve as a very useful and necessary learning tool. Students collect all their learning in this notebook, and it can easily be used to scaffold and assess learning. Students learn to take ownership of their notebook and love to share their creativity with others.
The sight word activities included in these activities are meant to supplement the Kindergarten Journeys Reading Program. For each activity, you will find a label that includes the skill being taught, the lesson number, as well as, an I can statement.
Explicit directions on how to complete each activity and images of each activity completed, are also included. You will also find two different notebook covers.
Please note: the 2014 version of Journeys uses the same sight words as the 2017 version.
