These sight words are taken from Journeys Kindergarten Reading Series, but are great for any reading program. There are 90 words in all.
Students will practice identifying and writing sight words by rolling a die, matching it to the sight word, and recording the sight word on their recording sheet! The goal is to get one row filled up. Students can also be instructed to play until the entire sheet is full. This engaging activity will keep students eager to practice writing their sight words. I use these as part of my literacy stations. The students enjoy it and it is Sweet & Simple to use. All you have to do is assemble the die provided and you are good to go!
