This is a "powerpoint type presentation" I made it to teach my kindergartners about maps. It is NOT a powerpoint. This is an activinspire flipchart used on the promethean board. You can download a personal version of this software on your computer but without the promethean board you cannot use it like an interactive white board but you will still be able to view and use all files located in the flipchart. I have my computer hooked up to a large tv for the kids and then I just use the software like a powerpoint presentation.
Here is the download link for the software.
This flipchart covers the florida standards for maps in social studies. I geared it towards florida but you can change it for whatever state you live in by asking different questions. For instance instead of "Where is Florida?" You can ask where is Montana or Texas? Just gear it towards whatever state you live in. There is an assessment included at the end. And 3 very good educational videos linked in the flipchart. The flipchart is fully editable and so is the assessment as long as you have activinspire software and microsoft word.
