I am so excited to introduce my complete Kindergarten Spelling Full Year Interactive Program bundle! This bundle includes the following
Kindergarten Spelling Word Lists! -
This packet includes 22 different word family spelling lists, each list includes three levels for differentiated learning.
I print these out and laminate them, I then put each groups list up on the "super spellers wall" so the students can practice them all week as a fast finisher, center, or self-start work.
Bury The Spelling Words-
Bury the spelling words is an amazing way to help students practice spelling words and build independence! This product includes 42 spelling list cards (this can be used as an add on product to my Full year kindergarten spelling list) After giving the students a pretest, the teacher identifies the words the student needs to work on. The teacher then gives the student a spelling card for each word they need to practice. The student practices the words independently and passes the word off the the teacher at different times through out the week. After the student has passed the word off 3 times, the student is able to bury the spelling word! I have a bucket of sand with a little palm tree and shipwrecked ship. Your students will love the hands on component of this spelling program!
Spelling Word Splat -
Directions~ Make copies, cut, and laminate each card. This game can be played in a variety of ways. Place magnetic tape on the back of each of the spelling bugs. Place two words on the board and give the student a fly swatter. The teacher will tell the student a word and the student swats the correct card. I have added misspelled spelling words as well for differentiation. Another way to play this game is in small groups, students can take turns spelling the words that are drawn, read the cards as they are drawn, or practice writing the cards as they are drawn. This is a great way to practice spelling words in a whole new way!
Spelling Bee Spelling Bee!
Directions- Print, cut-out, and laminate! Place the words to the spelling bee chant on the board so the students can see it (I practice the words for a couple of minutes before we start), and place the spelling bee words in a container. Have one student hold the spelling bee, the student will walk around the students while the students say the spelling bee chant. When the chant is over, the student closest to the spelling bee gets to try and spell a spelling word bee from the container. (I usually pick the word out). If the student gets it right, he or she gets to be the new spelling bee holder and the students start the chant again. (With my kindergartners, I allow them to ask a friend to help the spell the word so they can be successful:)
Spelling Word Sentence Strips Kindergarten-
These sentence strips are made up of kindergarten spelling words and sight words! Students will have access to ability level reading that directly coordinates to what they are learning. This product is differentiated by 3 levels for all learners!
