Term 4 questions address:
▶️ addition and subtraction to 5
▶️ addition and subtraction number facts to 10 with visual aids
▶️ word problems with addition and subtraction within 10
▶️ place value - comparing numbers to 10, decomposing teen numbers into tens and ones
▶️ geometry - identify flat and solid shapes; identify and describe shapes; describe the position of shapes using terms such as above, below, beside, etc.; compare shapes
▶️ measurement - compare 2 objects to see which has more of or less of; determine which object is heavier/lighter, longer/shorter.
When playing the PowerPoint, students click on the question, answer it, check to see if they are correct. They then find out how many points they have been given. Different points are allocated to different questions. For each point given the student collects a counter. Counters are placed on tens frames. Scores are not automatically calculated on this game.
