Product Description
Here are some activities I set out for my Kindergarten students in March, April and May!

What's included:

LITERACY

p. 2-9: SPRING PRINTING {SIMPLE SENTENCES} - Tracing and printing simple sentences. A sentence per page to trace and print. There is a corresponding picture in the corner to help students read/decode the sentence. In both colour and B&W.

The sentences are:
- She is planting a flower.
- I see four ladybugs.
- He is playing in the mud.
- The frog is on the log.

p. 10-15: Q-TIP SPRING WORDS & PICTURES - Have your students use q-tip and paint to dot and draw the picture and print the corresponding word! Words included are butterfly, worm, ladybug, frog, rain and umbrella.

p. 16-19: SPRING WORDS - A chart of spring words to add to your writing centre. Have students use them to copy the words or write a sentence with it. In both colour and B&W. Simple writing paper included.

p. 20-25: DO-A-DOT LETTERS - Have students use bingo daubers or do-a-dot markers to dot print the letters and read the simple sentence! Sentences included are:
- C is for cloud.
- R is for rain.
- U is for umbrella.
- B is for bee.
- T is for tulip.
- B is for butterfly.

p. 26-29: RAIN DROP CVC SEARCH - Print, cut and laminate the rain drop puzzle pieces. Place them on a table or put them in a sensory bin (I'm put them in a sensory bin with white cotton balls). Then have students find and match the picture to the CVC word and record each word on the recording sheet.

The 6 CVC words included are: log, net, pot, bug, mud, kid

p. 30-36: BEGINNING SOUND SEARCH - Cut and laminate the cards. Put them out with magnetic letters. Have students look for and place the beginning letter on the cards. Have them record the beginning sound on the recording sheet. 3 recording sheet options included.

Words included are: bird, caterpillar, kite, ladybug, frog, flower, butterfly, cloud

MATH:

p. 37-42: SPRING PRINTING {NUMBERS} - Tracing and printing numbers 1-10. Four numbers to a page (except for the last page which only has 2) with space to print numbers on their own after they practice tracing. In both colour and B&W.

p. 43-48: SPRING COUNTING - I put velcro above the numbers on the counting mats and on the backs of the cards. Then have students count the pictures/seeds and stick them in the corresponding box. Numbers 1-10 and 11-20.

p. 49-52: SPRING PATTERN BRACELETS - Have students make a pattern on the flowers and name their pattern underneath.

OR

Have students cut out the squares with spring pictures and create a pattern on the blank bracelet template. Then have the students name the pattern underneath.

p. 53-56: SPRING SYMMETRY CUTTING SHEETS - A great way to review symmetry and practice scissors skills! Have students predict what the picture will be and fold the sheets in half on the dotted line. Then have students cut the dots, open and reveal the spring picture!

p. 57-59: SPRING SURVEYS - Have students practice their data collecting skills! Students will ask a question and collect data in the corresponding box. Then they will write which spring animal/insect had more votes.

The 3 questions that are included are:
- Which do you like more, bees or butterflies?
- Which do you like more, ladybugs or caterpillars?
- Which do you like more, frogs or birds?

I hope you enjoy doing these activities with your students!
