Kindergarten Spring Centers for Math and Literacy Activities

This packet includes 6 centers {3 literacy, 3 math} and 6 extra no-prep practice pages with a fun spring theme. Activities are hands-on, interactive, engaging and perfect for Kindergarten!

The centers include:

There are 6 different centers included, three literacy and three math. Also included are 6 additional no-prep practice pages to reinforce the skills taught in the center. These can be used as remediation, homework, or as an additional center.

-Change the Sound: Students will read the CVC word and change the beginning sound to match a different CVC picture. They will record the new word on their paper to show their answers.
-Make a Word: Students will blend the onset and rimes to determine which makes a new real word. They will record the real word on their paper and draw a picture to match.
-Secret CVC Words: {Similar to the Secret Code Sight Words in the monthly center packs} Students will identify the beginning sound of each picture to spell a CVC word. They will record the CVC word on their paper. (A Beginning Sounds Alphabet reference sheet is included)
-Ten Frame Garden: Students will determine the number represented by the ten frame. They will record the number on their paper and count back to fill in the numbers that come before.
-Gone Buggy: Students will count to determine the teen number represented by the bug jar and bugs. They will record an addition equation on the paper to match.
-Froggy Bonds: Students will solve to determine the missing part and record the entire number bond on their paper.
