Are you looking for a fun and educational way to keep your students practicing their Kindergarten skills during the summer break? Check out our Summer Homework Calendar for Kindergarten.
This product contains calendars for June, July, and August (we have included a b&w version and color version) It also contains a letter to parents and sight words list for the summer. Each day is themed as follows:
Sight Word Sunday-Activities to review Kindergarten sight words
Math Monday-Activities to review math standards taught in Kindergarten
Technology Tuesday-Links to fun educational videos that will get your child moving! (QR codes are linked to videos in Safeshare, so no need to worry about ads or pop-ups)
Write It Wednesday-Have your child write the story independently. In Kindergarten we worked very hard on being able to write 3 sentences all by our self. Its ok if your child spells a word incorrectly. In Kindergarten we concentrate on sounding out each word.
Think It Thursday-Reading Activities that concentrate on the many skills we learned in Kindergarten. (Draw & Tell Activities--Have your child read the sentence independently and draw a picture that matches the sentence.)
Find It Friday-Find the items around your house
STEAM Saturday-Activities that focus on creativity and problem solving.
Have a great summer! You deserve it!!!
