I love task cards! They are highly engaging and help students become motivated and independent. Task cards are one of my favorite activities because you can utilize them in many ways. This set of task cards covers the Kindergarten standard of comparing numbers. Students will be challenged to compare pictures and to count objects to determine which one has more, fewer, or the same. Theses task cards are also great to use for math centers or as independent activities. In my classroom, I often use task cards as scoot games. I place the cards around the room and the students take their answer sheets and walk around the room to answer the questions. I have included two types of answer sheets that you can choose from. If students are still struggling with reading, the 2nd option might be easier for them. The advanced students could probably use the blank answer sheet to record their answers. There are so many ways to use them! For best results, I highly recommend printing these task cards in color and laminating them before use. I hope you enjoy!
