Product Description
All Aboard! This is your ticket to: Classifying & Sorting 2D and 3D Shapes!

These curricula aligned colorful cards engage students with the skill of classifying and sorting 2D & 3D shapes. This differentiated pack contains three levels of content: Developing, Meeting, and Exceeding. These levels provide a range of students the opportunity to not only understand, but apply this mathematical concept. Students will classify and sort 36 various real life 2D & 3D shapes. Tickets work best when each group has their own set of the 36 shapes available for sorting. The differentiation takes place in the questions and categories which each group is asked to sort. The shape(s) on the question cards also act as an answer key. Student response sheets are not necessary as students are using the shape cards provided to portray their answer.

Developing Cards (1-4): Gives students the opportunity to sort 2D flat shapes and 3D solid shapes.

Meeting Cards (5-8): Allows students to sort 2D shapes with no sides, 3D shapes with no sides, 2D shapes with equal sides, and 3D shapes with equal sides. For this product, sides are the equivalent of edges.

Exceeding Cards (9-12): Students will sort 2D shapes with corners, 3D shapes with corners, 2D shapes with no corners, and 3D shapes with no corners. For this product, corners are the equivalent of vertexes and vertices.

Early finishers or students who require a challenge? Golden Tickets are provided. These are questions aimed at taking the skill one step further.

Want to include questions covering specific content you have taught? Blank tickets are also provided. However, please note that they are not editable.

Saving ink? Black & white tickets have been included in this set for your convenience.
