Thank you so much for checking out my CAMPING ten frame math activities! This activity is a great independent kindergarten math center that will help children to develop important number sense skills. I highly recommend laminating the cards for durability or placing the cards in plastic sheet protectors (if you are not able to laminate).
Students choose a card and place that amount of manipulatives on the ten-frame. Then they will trace and write the number with a dry erase marker. For an added fine motor activity, students can also fill in the large outlined number with manipulatives using a clothespin or other type of “grabber” (clothes pin, tong, etc.) to strengthen fine motor muscles. You can use any manipulative of your choice! This is an easy-to-implement, printable ten frame math activity!
There are also 4 ten frame recording sheets included for student accountability and reinforcement.
