Information Regarding Bonus Number Finds:

This packet includes 20 number finds, one for each number 1 – 20. It is designed to be used in a differentiated fashion. Based on student need, objectives can include working with:

Number identification: On each page, just one number is added to the number grid. One of the tasks is for students to say each number. They can do this with a partner, in a small group and/or for homework.

Number sense: On each page, students color in squares to represent the number using ten frames.

Number Combinations: As a challenge activity, students can find and circle the number combinations.

For numbers 1- 10, the number grids include all the number combinations to form that number. For numbers 11- 20, the number grids includes the number combinations that can be formed using numbers 1 – 10.
