This is an 8 page easy to make mini reader for your Kinders! It is titled "What is Gray?" Repetitive text and simple sight words (the, is) make this perfect to start off the school year! It is interactive too, as the last page allows for students to draw, color and label one more item that is gray.
Quick and easy directions are included to assemble! These are just the right size for little hands and helps save on ink and paper too.
I like to make these color mini readers for my Kinders to use for morning work during the first few weeks of school. After coloring them, they are placed in their reading bags. These become an immediate collection of "just right" books for reading workshop time!
Two blackline versions are included: one with touch points (to help early readers with voice/print match) …plus one without the touch points. You choose the one that is best for your kiddos.
I have the following Kindergarten mini readers in my store: red, blue, orange, purple, green, white, black, yellow, brown, pink, and gray.
