Product Description
These kindergarten number math centers (math stations) provide hands-on practice with a variety of numeracy and number sense skills. This bundle features five no-prep or “print and play” centers and six low prep (print + simple cuts) centers. Each of the 11 center themes is broken up into 4 sets representing smaller number groups, 0-5, 6-10, 11-15, and 16-20. There are 44 math centers your students can use in total! This is meant for kindergarten students but would make great enrichment for pre-K students with deep number sense or first graders who need additional practice with numbers 0-20.

Eager mathematicians will read, write, and represent whole numbers, count a set of objects, instantly recognize a small group of objects (or subitize), generate a set that is more than, less than, or equal to a given number, generate a number that is one more or one less than another number, compare sets of objects, use comparative language, and compose and decompose numbers.

This resource will keep you afloat because…
☑ These rigorous math centers were specifically designed for scaffolding number concepts, as the centers are broken up into number groups 0-5, 6-10, 11-15, and 16-20.
☑ They provide students multiple opportunities to master concepts within the small number groups.
☑ These math centers can be used throughout the year and for years to come.
☑ Differentiation is made easy since you can have multiple groups of students working on the same center using different numbers.

Focus Standards:
→ TEKS- K.2ABCDEFGHI

→ K.2 The student applies mathematical process standards to represent and compare whole numbers, the relative position and magnitude of whole numbers, and relationships within the numeration system.

→ K.2A Count forward and backward to at least 20 with and without objects.
→ K.2B Read, write, and represent whole numbers from 0 to at least 20 with and without objects or pictures.
→ K.2C Count a set of objects up to at least 20 and demonstrate that the last number said tells the number of objects in the set regardless of their arrangement or order.
→ K.2D Recognize instantly the quantity of a small group of objects in organized and random arrangements.
→ K.2E Generate a set using concrete and pictorial models that represents a number that is more than, less than, and equal to a given number up to 20.
→ K.2F Generate a number that is one more than or one less than another number up to at least 20.
→ K.2G Compare sets of objects up to at least 20 in each set using comparative language.
