This pack includes reproducibles that reinforce kindergarten and first grade math and calendar skills. All you have to do is tell them what the number of the day is, and the rest is up to them!
You can either print them and have students complete them traditionally, or print them and place them in plastic sheet protectors for students to complete with dry erase markers to save paper and time. I created them as independent morning work that the students can complete while you take attendance, get materials ready for the day, etc., but you could also use them as informal assessments.
The pack includes several different sheets that vary in difficulty for differentiation and to challenge students as they grow throughout the year. They are also open-ended to allow students to give themselves as much of a challenge as they feel comfortable with.
Skills included are:
*Ten frames (single ten frame and double)
*Before and After (1 more and 1 less)
*Ways to make a number (similar to Everyday Math's Name Collection Boxes)
*Greater than/less than
*Skip counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s
*10 more and 10 less
