Six November Activities from the Super 6 areas of the curriculum:
Literacy- Twice Dice -beginning sounds game with letter or picture dice
Writing - Mystery Letters- Writing Capital Letters - individual letter puzzles make letter writing practice a lot more fun!
Math - Clay Counting Mats - one to one correspondence - using number mats 1-10 and clay shapes helps students understand the concept
Science-Touch and Match - Using the sense of touch to identify objects that match pictures
Social Studies - Set the Table - Thanksgiving Place Setting - creating a patterned place mat, a table setting and a healthy meal
Arts & Crafts - Thick, Thin, Straight, Curvy - Experimenting with different kinds of lines
All Activities were created to be used in centers, however, they work equally well with small groups, seat work for the whole group or any way the teacher chooses. The activities are sequential, based on CCS and are engaging for students, easy and inexpensive for teachers. We help teachers Work Smarter, NOT Harder!
