Celebrate the Christmas season by spreading some kindness...and decorating some cookies!
The 12 days leading up to Winter break, my students select an act of kindness to demonstrate that day. As a class, we talked about how it is important to “exchange” acts of kindness to one another. At the end of the day, the students wrote their act of kindness on the piece of paper and stuck it in their bag. Once the 12 days were over, we had a decorating celebration! The students decorated a cookie for a family member (you could have them decorate it for a friend too) and decorated one for themselves to eat. I provided 12 premade acts of kindness cards, but there are also editable ones for you to create specifically for your class!
