Kindness IS Cooler, Mrs. Ruler Project

This item is a reader's response to the book "Kindness IS Cooler, Mrs. Ruler" by Margery Cuyler. After reading aloud the book, students will be able to create a bulletin board of their own acts of kindness. This activity is community building and perfect for establishing an inclusive environment in either a school or after school, program setting. It's great for back to school or when your class needs a reminder to treat each other kindly. The download includes directions, a letter to send home to families and a page of heart templates (with directions) for students to record their random acts. Also, you can print out Mrs. Ruler's quotes on three signs to use for making a bulletin board.
