Description
Many schools are going 1:1 and are trying to have paperless classrooms.
*Unlike traditional task cards you don't have to spend a lot of time cutting them out.
hese task cards can be used in a variety of ways. Here are some examples:
There are 16 task cards included in this product. Each task card has a quote about kindness that students will interpret and respond to.
These task cards can be used in a variety of ways. Here are some examples:
Have students respond to a set amount of cards. You can have them pick cards or assign the ones that you like.
Have the students respond to all of the cards either individually or in a group.
Use the cards for any anti-bullying unit. (Some people do this in October for National Bullying Prevention Month or in February for Pink Shirt Day.)
Use these cards when teaching a piece of literature that deals with bullying. Some works of literature these cards could be used for include Wonder by R. J. Palacio, Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, 13 Reasons Why (Thirteen Reasons Why) by Jay Asher, The Skin I’m In by Sharon Flake, The Chocolate War by Robert Cormier, etc.
Use them for:
Bell Ringers (Do Now Activities)
Students who complete their work early
Extra Credit Writing Assignments
Writing Centers
Students will either write responses to the prompts on the task cards or use the digital journal that has been provided.
This activity is aligned with the common core state standards for grades 5-12. There is a list of the standards included.
You can easily print out the pages if you have to.
If you haven’t created a free Google account, you will need to do that before beginning the project. Each student will need their own account if they will be working on their own.
