Description
Task Cards are a great tool for differentiation in your classroom.
There are 16 task cards included in this product. Each task card has a quote about kindness that students will interpret and respond to. There are also 4 blank task cards for you to write in whatever you want.
These task cards can be used in a variety of ways. Here are some examples:
Have students respond to a set amount of cards. You can have them pick cards or assign the ones that you like.
Have the students respond to all of the cards either individually or in a group.
Use the cards for any anti-bullying unit. (Some people do this in October for National Bullying Prevention Month or in February for Pink Shirt Day.)
Use these cards when teaching a piece of literature that deals with bullying. Some works of literature these cards could be used for include Wonder by R. J. Palacio, Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, 13 Reasons Why (Thirteen Reasons Why) by Jay Asher, The Skin I’m In by Sharon Flake, The Chocolate War by Robert Cormier, etc.
These cards are great for Do Now Activities (Bell Ringers) and/or Exit Tickets.
