This worksheet is intended to give students the opportunity to calculate Kinetic Energy from various real world scenarios.
Then the worksheet transitions to having the students do a series of calculations (series 1: changing mass vs kinetic energy; series 2: changing velocity vs kinetic energy) and graph each. Lastly the students are required to provide a written analysis of the two graphs.
This worksheet has been used quite successfully in my classes for a while and it will surely help your students grasp the concept of kinetic energy as well.
An answer sheet is provided.
