Product Description
This packet includes a persuasive project, lasting about four days, that emphasizes the importance of kinetic energy (exercise) for today's youth. This project integrates science (energy), and social studies (current events), as well as non-fiction articles and a reading comprehension sheet (fact and opinion + synthesizing) to aid with the research.

The Energy Committee is asking students to create a campaign to convince the youth of the nation to use kinetic energy instead of potential energy. Students will read a non-fiction article (included) and create a campaign with slogan (choosing from a billboard, brochure, poster or song).

This packet contains:

- Mission sheet
- Checklist
- Rubrics
- Organizing research sheet
- One article - "Exercise Campaign" and reading comprehension sheet (fact and opinion and synthesizing)
- Public Service Announcement watch list and guided questions
