100 question summary assessment / final quiz based on the play by William Shakespeare.
This is a multiple choice activity. I created it in this format to provide support for weaker students. I use as an open book test or scavenger hunt, so that it is an active learning activity as well as an assessment tool.
Questions are based on plot, character, and important quotations. There are twenty questions for each act. You could use as 5 separate activities, i.e. at the end of each act. This is actually how I first developed it. The questions are sequential, so if you're using in open book format, students should quickly see if they have missed an answer. Although it's a multiple choice activity, it is quite challenging. Students who work through this will have a very good understanding of the play.
The product consists of the quiz (15 pages) plus solution (1 page). It is a Word document, so you can edit to suit your class.
Download the preview file to see the first page of questions. Even if you don't buy my product, this will give you a useful activity with which you can assess information gleaned in the first act.
