This pack includes a card game that can be played during small group instruction. The game can be played in several ways. It focuses on number ID, counting and matching numerals to sets. The game can be played using cards 1-10 or 1-20 depending on the needs of your students. I recommend making 2 copies of the numeral and counting cards prior to playing the game.
Roll and Count -I have included one roll and count board. You will need to print one for each student playing the game. I highly recommend laminating these boards prior to use. Roll and Count focuses on number identification and counting with one to one correspondence. To play Roll and Count, students roll dice and cover the indicated number of boxes with counters. The first student to cover the entire game board is the winner. The game can be made less difficult by using 1 dice, or even a cube labeled 0-3, or you can make the game more challenging by giving students 2 dice.
I have also included several follow-up worksheets:
Number writing practice 1-10
Number writing practice 1-20
