back to school craft
Are you planning on reading 'The Kissing Hand' by Audrey Penn to your students this year?
Using it as a 'first day' story?
Want a cute and simple craftivity that connects to the story and serves as a conversation starter about the child's first day for parents?
This cute and easy craftivity is just what you need!
My students LOVE making hats and parading around the school! How fun it will be to make and wear these on the first day! Parents will LOVE seeing their little ones come off the bus wearing this cute crown! Best yet- it is sure to spark conversation about the book you read and is sure to produce a bunch of 'kissing hands' from loved ones!
This Pack Includes:
*Directions For Use/Assembly
*Preschool, Pre-K, TK (Transitional Kindergarten), Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade and blank hat/badge templates
*General ‘day’ template (in case you don't read it on the first day- this one just says 'my day')
*Note to go home with craftivity
Students simple color the raccoon/heart and then it gets attached to a sentence strip. OR make it into a badge or necklace by reducing the print size!
